Connecting with Our Community Through Local Events

Local events are an integral part of CPI’s efforts to stay connected with the communities we live, work and play in.  Connecting with friends & family of our employees, neighborhood groups & associations, as well as the community at large allow us to positively impact those around us.  Interested in learning more about upcoming events that CPI is involved in?  Take a look at the community calendar to discover local events happening today, tomorrow and in the weeks to come.

Here are just some of the community events that CPI is involved in:

  • Midland River Days – Celebrate summer!  Riverdays has been a Midland Area Community Foundation (MACF) event for 32 years. MACF is proud to continue this great annual tradition in downtown Midland.  It’s two days of great fun: Music, food, entertainment and activities for everyone. Activities include riverboat rides, zipline trips, concerts, a beer tent and so much more.  CPI hosts a tent where visitors can learn more about STEM+ activities and even make their own slime!  Discover more about River Days here: River Days Website
  • Balloon Festival – Early September brings cool nights and the warm glow of hot air balloons at several locations around Midland – culminating at the Midland County Fairgrounds.  CPI helps to sponsor this event, making it free for everyone in the community to attend.  Attendance is always high at one of the most popular balloon festivals in the state of Michigan.  Learn more here: Midland Balloon Festival
  • Tunes by the Tridge – Summertime concerts presented by Midland Parks & Recreation, as well as local sponsors such as CPI. Situated by the famous Tridge in Midland, families are encouraged to come enjoy music, good food and community engagement.  The Tunes by the Tridge schedule of performers can be located on our community calendar, or by visiting the City of Midland page here:  Tunes by the Tridge
